Vice President Treasury and Investor Relations Stewart Mahoney is the Vice President Treasury and Investor Relations for Empire Company limited.
Prior to joining Empire Company Limited in 1993, Stewart was involved in management positions at Scotiabank, New Brunswick Telephone Company and Sobeys Inc.
Stewart graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1981 with his Bachelor of Business Administration, later obtaining his Masters of Business Administration at Saint Mary’s University, and his CFA designation in 1997.
Stewart sits on the Sobeys Pension Investment Committee and is Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee. He is currently Chair of Summer Street Industries Foundation Investment Committee. He is a member of the Atlantic Canadian Society of Financial Analysts and the Canada Investor Relations Institute.
